VICE Presents 'The Issue Launch Party' brought to you by Wrangler
We got together with the cool kids from VICE and threw a couple of parties. Why? Cos that’s the kind of thing we do. Featuring New War, Black Zeros and Hand Games DJs, we took over the Goodgod Small Club in Sydney and The Liberty Social in Melbourne for two nights in November 2012. Press play for a peek at ‘VICE Presents ‘The Issue Launch Party’, brought to you by Wrangler….
AW'13 CAMPAIGN SHOT BY CORY WHITE
This season we’re moving on from exploring the world just beyond our own backdoor. Celebrating the world within it, we’re training an eye on the place where we live, love and create.
Welcome to Wrangler Autumn/Winter 2013.
Not just a roof and four walls, this is a place where music and memories are made, where shared histories are woven. A grungy, authentic and aspirational realm where the young live out their youth; dreaming in their beds, dancing on their floors and hanging from the rafters.
It's where friends embrace freedom, being who they want to be. Sure, we’re all testing the waters, but it's on our own shore and on our own terms.
Living in both the now, and in nostalgia, Wrangler Autumn/Winter 2013 continues a constant evolution. Staying true to our heritage yet creating tomorrow’s vintage with each moment that passes.
AW'14 CAMPAIGN SHOT BY BEC PARSONS
If today’s mainstream is squeaky clean bubblegum pop and an army of selfie taking "slashies" then Wrangler AW14 is the no fuss, #nofilter opposite.
Think Grunge and the isolated, idealistic wilderness it was born from. A generation of free spirited, fed up, and fired up iconoclasts who channeled a counter culture of creativity. If not the Cobains, then Empire Records’ band of misfits—whoever the firebrand, always the devil-may-care attitude and a hammering away of the veneer of “fitting in."
This season, Wrangler jumps on the open road to wherever the mainstream isn’t, to nature. Letting photographer Bec Parsons and her talent of Lara Mullen & Keno Weidner loose we might be capturing on celluloid the raw, stripped-back range of tops, tees and denim—sure. But in the same breath we’re celebrating freedom and beating our own path.
One and all we remain the Wanderer, the Outlier —and proud of it.
